Relaxation techniques for learning (yoga)

Studying at TU Wien is particularly demanding – especially the exam period in January, which represents a major mental and physical challenge for many students. Long hours of studying, high performance pressure, and little time for recovery can quickly lead to stress, exhaustion, and concentration difficulties.

To support you as best as possible during this intense phase, the Department for Social Policy and the Department for Sports are jointly offering a professionally guided relaxation workshop. The workshop is led by an experienced trainer and is specifically tailored to the needs of students during study and exam periods.

In this 60-minute session, you will learn practical and easy-to-apply relaxation and breathing exercises that you can use directly while studying or during short breaks. The goal is to reduce stress, improve your ability to concentrate, and help you continue studying with more calmness and focus. The exercises are suitable for everyday use and require no prior experience.

The first session is free of charge, allowing you to try out the offer without any obligation. Due to positive feedback, we plan to offer additional courses in the summer semester 2026 to continue supporting you in maintaining a healthy and successful study routine.

The session will take place on January 9, 2026 at 4:30 pm. Please come to seminar room AC 02 - 2 (AC0240).

If possible, bring your own yoga mat. If you don’t have one, you can borrow a mat from us on site and wear comfy cloths.

The booking period for this event is over.
