KulTUrtag - to the Musikverein - Anton Zeilinger

For this KulTUrtag, we are taking you to a cultural venue not far from TU Wien and Karlsplatz. Atypical for the Musikverein, which mainly hosts classical music performances or the New Year's Concert, a mixture of concert and experiment will take place on 12 January 2024.

🗓️ Sunday, 12 January 2024
Musikverein, Great Hall
Duration: 19:30 - 22:00
🎟️ Ticket price: 4 euros (instead of 20 euros)

🎭 What is it about?
‘Listening to music also allows us to reflect on how the human brain works’, says Nobel Prize winner Anton Zeilinger - and this evening will demonstrate this in two ways.

Anton Zeilinger and his colleague Bernhard Jakoby will conduct audio experiments with the audience. Firstly, the fragments of Mozart's ‘Requiem’ will be played, followed by the full version. The audience will also be able to experience how little information the human brain can manage with in order to perceive sounds.

Unfortunately you missed the tickets for the event, but the next KulTUrtag is coming soon!
