Workshop: Anti-Muslim Racism (Introduction & Awareness-raising)
ORGANISED BY: Dunia Khalil from the Documentation and Advice Centre on Islamophobia and Anti-Muslim Racism
What is anti-Muslim racism (AMR) and how do we encounter it in everyday life? This workshop covers the basics, highlights different forms of AMR and creates a space to critically reflect on one’s own prejudices, perceptions and societal assumptions. Using specific examples, we will examine the various manifestations and effects of AMR.
